John Miles, ehemaliger Lotos Werkspilot hat einmal für das englische Autocar Magazin einen Deuville getestet. Hier ein kurzer Auszug.
"The 100 mph point comes up on a short straight very quickly. At that speed, stability is excellent. There is no substitute for cubic capacity to give mid range acceleration, add this to a taut, sensitive car that, for its size, handles, holds the road and steers like no other businessman's express that I have ever driven before, and here is a car that cries out to be driven enthusiastically. In the rare event of a slide, I could make the back wheels spin in a straight line, but the rear only steps a little out of line and then stays put.
Braking is very powerful and stable, the front locking first in the wet but not so soon as to suggest that the ballance could be incorrect in dry condition. The Deauville is extremly safe, combined with an excellent ride, at least to my, perhaps sporting taste.
At the end of the day I really felt that I had discovered something exciting"
Hier noch der Innenraum.
