5 Series Angel Eye Headlamp package for the E46 M3?

Last week i had the "Angel Eyes" (hella xenon with lit rings) headlamp conversion for my 98 540i. After i had this done i started to visualize that upgrade on my E46 M3.

Does anyone know if this upgrade is possible in the E46 M3? Im not sure if it is, but i would like to hear from anyone who has customized their E46 M3 like this. I am trying to find out whether it is more or less a clip and screw setup, or whether it was created specifically for the 5 Series.

If it was created for the 5 alone, then i guess some serious custom work would be required?

i think it is possible cos i saw an old E36 M3 on the

net which the owner converted the original lights

to an angel eye type.

he posted a lot of pictures showing how he did the work!!!

Anyone know if the Alpina B8 has "Angel Eyes"?. Anyway i saw a red one with it.
