Power and Beauty - The Gallery ...

Hello everyone, I decided on creating this gallery for everyone to donate really great photography to. It can feature any make or vintage, but I'm looking for clear, artistic pictures that portray dynamic power and/or beauty.

So I'll start off with these fine photos of the BMW 7-Series and the Lamborghini Diablo SV to give you an idea of what I have in mind.

Also because I can, and because this site is lacking a warm human element, I'm including a lovely woman who I hold in high esteem. Have fun! :P

And if I use more than one post for this, big deal, so sue me. I'm not sure how to lump a bunch of photos on one post yet. :D * I might want to warn some people right now that there are some pretty huge pictures on page 2, just in case your computer has a problem with it.

ok, cool idea. first thing, are you going to start making this site all touchey-feely?

seccondly, if you want to add images just do it like this

img src= and then the location where the image is (no space between the image local and the =)

then if you want another image under it, just hit enter and do the same thing for the next image..

Yeah, thats' a picture alright, and thats' the end of those tires!

I would like to get large format pictures as much as possible, but as long as it's cool and relatively clear, it's all good.

Spyker? Let me guess, it's French.

Whatever it is, it's very uh ... shiny. As for the Citroen, thats' gotta be the slickest ride on here, check out the rims on that car!

Hallo LateNightCable,

schau doch mal hier zum Thema Verschiedenes über Autos (Anzeige)? Eventuell gibt es dort etwas Passendes.

Der V16 Motor zum Selberbauen (Anzeige) ist auch genial.

you lousy dutch bums! It is not fair to use pictures of the spyker, that car is naturally sexy enough that I could take a picture of it and it would be art.

late night, I am afraid of where your pictures are going :D

Ok, this is gonna sound really stupid I know but how do I post a picture? I need an idiots guide, step by step etc.

Ive got a pic I want to post but I dont want to end up posting a load of meaningless text or somthing like that.

I only know how to use the internet & computers at a basic level so anything even remotely technical baffles me, even though Im sure this is perfectly simple.

Thanks.

About that Spyker, you guys actually think it's sexy, I thought GIR put it on here as a joke. It's very eccentric looking, thats why I thought it might be French.

how dare you insult the all mighty Spyker, GIR is from holland, and that is his country's greatest car, and amognst the sexiest and best performing built. It's cosworth V8 is godly.

Hey, you love your bentley so much, the wicked witch of the fatherland has her now, and look what your beloved bentley is about to become!

hahaha powered by the 6.0L W16, trust me, after that engine, you'll beg to have the sophisticated and silent mercedes and BMW V12s!

And now the pretty one:

Sex on the beach, ha, thats' funny, I was thinking of posting that exact same photo yesterday, thats' what I'm talking about! Excuse me for not knowing about the Spyker, but the Dutch reputation for automotive greatness doesn't really get around. I still think it looks as French a guy in a beret and a tight striped shirt. :P

Trust me, I won't beg for sophisticated silence, I'll stick with the old school lump of iron they have now. And that soap bar is no Bentley! This gallery is supposed to be about Power and Beauty, not soap. For your, Touchy Feely enjoyment, I present to you, " What a luxury car should be. " Woah, thats' big!

Let the stoning begin! rock.gif

The Dutch have an extensive automotive manufacturing history, you just don't know about it. For example Spyker, Donkervoort, MAN, Fokker, Iveco and DAF!

I'm sure you know about Donkervoort!

No, but I have heard of Fokker, is that the plane manufacurer? How come they don't sell some of those great cars like the Donkervoort, Iveco, and DAF over here? I have never seen evidence of their existance, even in European magazines. Why don't they make themselves known, like all the others?

Fokker had a short history in car production like Spyker had a short history in airplane production (hence the propeller logo). DAF makes trucks, Iveco makes trucks and big vans, both are European players as far as I know they do not reach into the US market.

C'mon I'm sure you've seen a Donkervoort without even knowing. Ever seen Bad Boys I? The car they load onto the airplane is a Donkervoort. Their current model is the D8

The lightweight, open wheel and roofless design make these cars something else to drive. Don't expect any luxury thought, everything unnecesary has been stripped out. You only have the steeringwheel, the seats and the instrument cluster.

the donkervoort doesn't count. That is hack engineering and a car with as many fundamental design flaws as a viper. It is the european Plymouth Prowler.

The Spyker is artwork. French cars are worthless, clearly the spyker is not. The dutch may be strange, but isn't calling them french a little too mean? :D

Hey, arnage is dieing, they want some ugly assed VW based, VW powered thing like Continental GT to replace it.

Whose laughing now?
