I hope they at least retain the chasis and engine. Well, mostly the engine in the production model. It should be impressive just the same.

Kevin, this thread is super old. They will keep the engine.

But while I'm here, I might as well put in 2 cents. I don't know what the final price of the Carrera GT will be, but if its' $1,000,000 or more, Porsche better be prepared for an ego slap. CGT is't that good. Even McLaren couldn't unload as many F1's as would have liked to at that price. And Carrera GT ain't no McLaren.

motor trend says Carrera GT will be selling for right around 300k. That's what the factory production info told them. I think they can unload them at that price.
