I wonder, is the driving force pro going to be in manuel transmission? Cause if it's not I won't bother.

If u look at the site LNC gave up there talking about the device, it shows it only had the F1 paddle shift and the SportTronic feature which is the manual mode on most of Nissan, Mitsubishi, Toyota and Hyundai's car's automatic transmissions.

Geschrieben

If they had 2 make it a manual transmission that would involve 2 much technology.

As in knowing shift points, knowing wat 2 do with 6th gear when cars only have 5, real life slippin the clutch, double clutching and missin gears.

All the technology 2 incorporate a manual trans would run it well over $200 and they know most nebody isn't willing to pay that much for it.

nice...but that is going to take a very very long time for me to memorize all of the courses.

says the nerd with 99.0% completion of gt3.

Geschrieben

Two points really:

1 - Why have they put the Rome/Seattle short courses back in again?

2 - Why have they included the test course?

Geschrieben

1. I like those tracks so why not?

2. To test ur top speed against other cars and not jus modify ur car to be a 1/4, 1/2 mile machine. Most ppl are only wried bout 1/4 mile times. Some people care bout 1/4 and 1/2 mile which is good but u hafta take into consideration 1/4, 1/2 AND Top Speed or else your car could get left at that track.

Geschrieben

1. they are cool/variety

2. why not

if (1/2mile != 1000m){

"what are you talking about?";

};

Hallo djfux69,

schau doch mal hier zum Thema Zubehör für Andere Automarken (Anzeige)? Eventuell gibt es dort etwas Passendes.

I'm talking bout the post Leejay made. WTF are u talkin bout?

Geschrieben

where is 1/2 mile?

EDIT: where did that come from?

EDIT again: thanks for the list btw

Geschrieben

1000m= 0.62 miles. That's a 1/10th off from being 1/2 mile jus round downward.

Jus like 400m is 0.248 miles but u round up for 1/4 mile.

Such a long discussion...and i thought i was the only gamer around here :)

Top speed and aceleration tests are best performed on the test course, but in GT3 I never really saw the point of having the 20 lap races round the course as it just meant about 30 min accelerating. No particular skill involved and no feeling in your right thumb!

Im just nitpicking really though, obiously the more tracks the better!

I've seen evidence that just about everyone around here is a gamer. If you're into cars, and you're into internet forums on the computer. Then you're probably a racing gamer to some degree. :)

I'm very excited about the real tracks from around the world that will be presented in GT4. I love that International flavor!

Geschrieben

the GT4 is going to be for the PS2 only, isn't it?.. has GT3 ,for instance, been ported to PC? <coz i am entirely a pc gamer>

Geschrieben

Sorry, but GT4 like the others in the series before it will be a PS2 excliusive title.

I guess they may eventually release it on PC (probably more likely than on x box/gamecube anyway) but I wouldn't imagine that their are any immediete plans to do so.

Any of you have the new GT4: Prologue?

I have it, but there are some things i don't understand:

1) There are four empty slots in the car selection menu, when I've completed the game, I guess I can win them by completing every race in gold time, but does any of you know which cars it is I am going to win?

2) When you set a track record and then check the rankings board you can select one of the records with the X-button and then a passcode appears. What is this passcode for?

Thanks for it.

BTW Nürburing in GT4! I can't wait...
