If sumbody brand new cums in.
:D

Thats one way to look at it. Although I think of it like this. If people can adjust quickly to Bangle, they could probably re-adjust to the designs of someone better than he even more quickly. And they would be all the better for it.

i think bangle's designs need work, but they offer great potential. Some cleaning them up an they'll be just fine. you say his designs only look good with huge wheels and in black, first off, who puts 15" rims on their full size super luxury sedan? Seccondly, the seven looks very good in dark blue, black, and suprisingly good in white too, atleast to me.

I think that he won't hurt bmw sales as much as we originally thought, because we are adapting to the look. After all, he did design E39, E38, and E46, we all love those. I'm not saying his designs are great, i'm saying with a facelift, they each really could be.

No, people don't put 15's on their luxury sedans, but the old 7 looked just fine with optional 18" wheels, and 17's too, which were standard. The new 7 looks fat even on it's standard 18" wheels, meaning it needs 19 or 20's to look like it has it's act together. The classic fashion recipe of drawing the eye elsewhere so the ass doesn't look so big. When I said it only looks good in black, I meant dark colors in general, and a car would have to be pretty crappy not to look at least kind of spiffy in white.

E38, 39, and 46. Those were all evolutions of the traditional BMW style. The newest cars are Bangle's first opportunity to express his own personal vision 100%. Personally, I'm not the sort to get used to things I find crappy to begin with. I know what I like, and Bangle cars aren't it. I feel that certain aspects of BMW are being cheapened, and money is being misdirected, so that Bangle can be wild.

In the context of Bangle, think of it like this. Never forget why you felt the way you once did. Because it was very likely for a good reason.

Latenight you are the one who thinks the celica is a work of art.if u think a celica looks better than the new 5 or 7 i think your probly smoking crack on your spair time.Besides look at the poll looks like more people like it than u thout.

What was that old saying? " 9 people can't be wrong ", no that wasn't it, " One million people can't be wrong. " Well they can be, the outrageous number of schmucky elected politicians proves that. If someone is " probly smoking crack in their spair time " it's not I.

The Celica is a lightweight Japanese sport coupe, which in in my opinion it is a great example of stylistically. The new 5 is a mid-size German sport sedan that looks overweight and Asian. I could be the only person who does not like the looks of the new 5, and I would be perfectly content with that.

what is it you said again latenight, even people with bad taste know good taste when they see it. Our polls gives new light to your words, along your logic, the new 5 is good taste.

It works both ways though. People with bad taste very often embrace bad taste as well. To each his own.

Excerpt from E60 Design Analysis

" In the end, I think the new 5-Series is done tastefully so to speak. But it's still rather unrefined, or perhaps too refined, depending on how you look at it. "

The E60 does not represent " bad taste ", but it is not really representative of good taste either. It's like a BMW in Samarai clothing. "
