Anyone know of a company that has performed SMG-Drivelogic Transmission conversion for a E46 BMW car (Not M3)?

it's almost bolt on now, for 2004, it's an option on Z4, and i believe on E46 in some markets.

The Drivelogic transmission is a bolt-on system? Really? Hmmm.. is that the actual transmission, or just a replica?

I was under the impression that the SMG-Drivelogic system was complicated... probably cos of all the "F1 Technology", and "Fastest shifter in a production car" labels.

well, the thing is, the SMG used in M3 is not the same one in the Z4 or the E46/E60. The one in the M3/M5 E60 is a Getrag/Bosch unit, the one in the Z4 and 3 is designed and built by ZF, it is a very different system. The M3's is not bolt on, the one from the Z4 is, it isn't that complex. New interior bits, updated software for the computer, and some wiring, but aside from that, it's not too bad.
