well, RX-8 competes with G35, so i figure a two seater version would compete with 350Z.

Who made that computer illustration, it doesn't look quite official.

Anyway, I think the RX-8 pretty much has it's own clientele. They are competitors in a general market sense, but nobody with their sights set on an RX-8 is even looking at a G35 I'm sure.

i love the 350z for one really big reason. it forces the competition to be slightly more modest with their pricing.

Personally, I'm not much for racy Japanese sport coupes, with the exception of the old 300ZX or Supra Turbo. To me, they just seem like imitations of the real thing, that being German sport coupes.

The RX-8 and G35 seem like really different cars, the RX-8 is a high winding little thing, and the G35 of course is sort of a luxified 350Z.
