The Vector M12 is powered by a 5.7L DOHC Lamborghini V12 - made in italy, not quite american. Furthermore, for as good as it looks on paper, it is no faster than an M3 to 60, has poor braking (144ft 60-0), poor aerodynamics (cd of .55), and never really sold well.

The Ford GT90 is an awsome idea, its performance is mind bending, 0-60 coming in at 3.2, 0-100 at 6.2 (that is by the way linear acceleration, which is ......amazing), a top speed close to 240mph, and over 720hp from its COSWORTH (yes, the british company owned by german audi/vw) quad turbo V12.

Fox, where did you here that? I've seen no solid evidence of that. I certainly hope not, it's Toyota's only real sport coupe. And besides, what would they use to run in the Toyota Pro/Celebrity Race, which takes place in Long Beach every year? Celicas have always been used. The race has been an absolute tradition for 28 years. By the way, you posted two sizes of the same blue M5 pic. I don't mean to be too picky, but I intended the gallery to be comprised of " artistic " photos of nice cars, not simply photos of nice cars or engine bays, or God forbid interiors. Mongrel's pic of the Lightning rear fender is pretty artistic.

Motor Trend this month says that they are retiring it. A Scion xC is going to start production for 06/07, but that will be more budget minded and less performance oriented, and probably less attractive (judging by the other scions)
