Apparently the engine is a new (or modified) V6 TDI/FSI with ~250HP.

i reckon it looks crap. none of the character of the mark II or III. they were the best, III is very best, but the mark IV is crap, and the mark V is absoloutely awful! volkswagen have let me down...
