i used to have a 95' 850T5-R sedan, 4 speed automatic. I had it over 300hp (the 4spd auto would chirp the front tires shifting to second). It was a nice car. I can hardly imagine what my 740 will be like with 300+ power (i am not sure whether or not to keep the 2.3 I4, or ditch it for 2.3 I5).

Since im from the country of Volvos.

Many of the fastest cars on the streetraces here are old 240,740 volvos. Either with a volvo turbo engine or a v8. Cheap and easy combination. Make a 10s car. Imagine 500-600hp in a car that got a weight of maby 800-1000kg. Im not sure about the nr combination about the turbo engines but i think some people manage over 1000hp on the B23 engine.

If we take the newer Volvos this year an 850 R made a 11s pass in the fwd class here. Still having hard with the SAAB cars.

I don't know anyone who tunes saab cars well. I have seen B23 tuned past 700, a thousand is amazing. I am thinking of placing a Ford Aluminum V8 or V6 into my Volvo. The B23 in my car would need a turbo, new heads, etc. etc. etc. in order to run really powerful numbers. I can easily find myself an SHO 3.0 or 3.4, perhaps a Duratech 3.0. I want to keep the car lightweight and drivable. I like the 700 series volvo much better than my 800 series for tuning. The rwd / solid rear axle setup allows for a lot of tuning.

Hey Fox what do you think of the XC90, ACC, ACC2, PCC2, and VCC? I mean overall, from engines and safety and features to economy and quality ad etc. etc.. (By the way I think ACC is the same as XC90, though I might be wrong. )

so wiwa is buddies with Roland? that explains it. Roland wouldn't make anyone who wasn't qualified a mod. Just because he isn't active doesn't mean he doesn't take an active roll. Remember, this site does have a german side on it, and many european users participate there too.

furthermore, wiwa likes volvos, and in my life I have had a hard time disliking volvo people. I used to be one and would love to again.

latenight, I just stuck my head over to the german side of this sight and noticed that WiWa has nearly 1,700 posts over there, and seems to be the font of all scandanavian car knowledge. I think that may have something to do with him holding mod status over on this side.

i don't know maybe. There are maybe three people on that side with more posts than I have here. The thing is, while relatively few of us americans can read german and stick our head over on that side to see what things are about, a good number of native german speakers are fluent in english, and would just look over here.

Anyhow, wiwa is qualitifed, i'll stay over on this side for the moment.
