The fish are jumpin', and the cotton is high.

Okay, so it isn't quite summer, but spring is upon us, which means people are hanging out on the internet less; probably a good thing - and the Carpassion forums will most likely slow to a crawl. Even more than ussual, and that's pretty slow.

So to all the regular members ( you know who you are ) and anyone who drops in, this thread is here for you to check in, share some words and generally to let us know you're still around.

Myself, I'm settling into a nice new place currently, and focusing on developing my career life to a greater degree.

Westside, I send a spring blessing to both your legs this season. - I hope Bleh catches the best waves yet. - Skyline, make good money, but don't spend too much time at the hospital.

And to our Euro bros - GIR, MV, Thunf - Have fun this year doing whatever it is you do in Europe in the spring.

hey i actually went out for the first time of the season last sunday. the waves dont get crazy good here till late august and september, so dont worry ill still be on.

Some relatively good things have happened to me. I can walk with no aids whatsoever (this includes running). I am going to help teach Middle Schoolers over the summer so it's all good. I'm trying to conserve the left one, though. So...I'm gettin' an Evo IX in September (don't worry, I'm still considering that E36 M3 ). I guess that sums up my summer/fall plans. Skyline, don't listen to LNC, sperm donation is a great way to make money.

dude what happened to you? walking with no aids? am i really out of the loop or what?

the determining factor of choosing between the e36 and the evo would be how long you plan on owning the car. if your going to get rid of it after a few years go for the evo and beat the piss out of it, otherwise bmw owns you. just like most things that are european, it will age better.

I didn't realize that. Bleh, don't you remember back in December when I was hurt? I'm not going to beat the piss out of either. It might have to sit in the garage for up to 6 months. I'm gonna go see some new Evos next week, try to get a good deal on an VIII before the IX comes.

If it means anything, the Evo is going through less and less of an evolution all the time. So yeah, I'd wait till the IX comes out and see what kind of deal you can get on an XIII - Which is hardly chopped liver. Remember, don't rule out other cars. You may come across something really cool you hadn't yet considered.
