My job hunting experince

For the past several months, I was kept busy with job hunting.

I will graduate from my collage this July. But even in last November, my classmate began their job hunting. As more and more students in china can go to collages, the competition of job hunting become severe.. (Everybody know china has the largest population in the world,) I study in a university of posts & telecommunications, majoring in information engineering. I found this year the job seems not so difficult to find as someone anticipated, after about 3 weeks busy with exams and interviews, I signed a contract with a company which mainly produce mobile phone, in department of research & development. The salary is good, and they also provide dormitory, which is very important for me.

Before that I always wondered whether I can find a job, always thought if I can find a job, that should be great! But right the moment I signed my name on the contract, I become anxiety, I felt it seems I lost something, I found I just sold myself to a company as a slave. Incredible , Haha.

Anyway I have found my job. But I still look for more opportunities, the R&D department is not suitable for me, I think, and that company located too far from the city I’m living now. I used to plan to go abroad for further study, I still want to go abroad now. So recently I attended a interview in another company just in my city, maybe I can go to the department of international cooperation, sounds great.

I want a job that pays very well so I can deal with hating the job as long as it pays well for now. Just until I can get back into fashion school and learn fashion designing so I can open up my own business.

Skyline, you want to have a fashion line? That's cool, I've dabbled in fashion design myself. Not hip hop style street wear P Diddy type crap, which all looks alike, but real couture. Stuff that won't go out of style.

I bought a wool army coat a little while ago, it's over 60 years old but you'd never know it. Stuff like that never goes out of style. 8)

Happy job hunting Ah64! Do you ever see yourself working abroad?

I’ve never been abroad before., it must be quite interesting.

I do want to find a job which can provide me chance to work abroad. But I don’t know how can I get it..

Maybe the international department, or foreign-funded enterprise?

I know some foreign-funded enterprise recruit here this year, but their requirement is too high. Motorola, for example , recruited RF engineers as well as many other positions in my collage a month ago, but like many other foreign funded enterprise (NOKIA ,NEC, Lucent, Siemens, etc) they only need graduate students, unfortunately I only have bachelor degree. And all the positions are in their research and development institutions established in china, means you seldom have chance to go abroad.
