Yes but its realy exspensive because one company bought the right. They did all the crash testing. They also rebuild all cars from American market. Think the company name is Motorex. Think the url was something like www.skylinegtr.com

I took out their stocklist.

hmm i live in seattle washington and is it $50,000 for a skyline with or without shipping? and also does vspec help a ton?

I would recomend you calling them. To hear if theres any cars sold in your area maby get in touch with them and test drive. From what i heard depend on what you do with your Skyline the vpspec is nice but maby a bit overated. Its mostly the lsd thats the difference. You have to test it your self. Most Skylines in Japan are Vspec or Vspec2. I have no clue about shipping again call them.

No problem. Hope you tell us all how it works out. If you need any tuning tips just shoot.

I'd actually recommend you don't. Parts for this car are really scarce, and it's a dying dinosaur anyway. Why not go for a nice new 350Z (or 350ZX) or something (that is, if you MUST buy a Nissan). That's just my input; hope you don't do something you'll regret. Buying a Skyline would seem like one of those types of things you'd do now and regret later.

Dying? Hardly. Scarce, maybe. But remember, they dont call it "GODZILLA"! for nothing. Regret it? No. Pimp it? Hell yes I would.

As far as getting one in the states, there MotoRex, who I feel is a scam/monopoly. Or you could just go down to the nearest Nissan/Infiniti dealer and buy the newest Skyline for 35k. Dubbed the G35 for the American market. The coupe shows promise, but stay far far away from the sedan. Or if you are really hard up, and really like how older cars look, look into a KPGC-110 Skyline GT-R. My personal favourite and the last until the debut of the now classic GODZILLA mentioned above.

Actually, the SkyLine IS dying. They don't have any long-term plans on continuing production of the Skyline series or even updating/face-lifting them. It may look that way now, but trust me, this car's not gonna be around. It's success has dropped drastically, and Nissan would be smart to drop it entirely. Scarce? Yes, absolutely. Correct me if I'm wrong, but is it not true that they only call the SkyLines "Godzilla" in Japan? And is it also not true that they pretty much call everything "Godzilla" in Japan? I for one would regret the hell out of buying one. The only way I'd ever find myself looking at a Skyline in my garage is if I got force-drunk at Vegas and was then hooked up with one of these. It's worse than a drunken Vegas wedding. By the way, the G35/G35-Coupe is totally different Infiniti animal than the Nissan Skyline (whatever unholy relation existsbetween the two of them). The Skyline is too rough and nasty. It's a great tuner, but that's it. I'd advise serious car-buyers to stay away.

NoelBMX1, it depends where you live. I'd get an Acura or something, if you want something dirt cheap that would suffice.

Hallo GrimmY,

schau doch mal hier zum Thema Zubehör für Andere Automarken (Anzeige)? Eventuell gibt es dort etwas Passendes.

Well izzy until u own a skyline then don't say nething about ownin 1 then regrettin it.

I don't regret buying my Skyline in the least bit and no it's not a "dying dinosaur."

I still love my R34 jus as much as the first day i bought it.

Scarce? yeah maybe true but who cares u know that be4 u buy it, so if u bitch cuz parts are scarce and u knew it be4 u bought then ur an idiot.

It's a great tuner, but that's it.

Oh, God plz gimmie a break, it rapes the 350z in every possible aspect u can think of.

I would ONLY think of gettin a Supra TT instead of a Skyline but i don't "regret" my purchase of mine, at all.

No i'm not gonna "pimp" mine out; i'm jus going to turn it into a beast sumtime later.

MotoRex is bullshit and a bunch of money grubbin bastards but there's nothing u can do bout it.

U jus gotta suck it up and go if u really want one.

They don't have any long-term plans on continuing production of the Skyline series or even updating/face-lifting them.

They aren't stoppin production, if so, then y r they comin out with the R35?

It's success has dropped drastically, and Nissan would be smart to drop it entirely.

 Plz, that's y it's still winning the JGTC year after year.

I'd advise serious car-buyers to stay away.

Wat the hell that pose 2 mean.

If Skyline wasn't a "serious" car then y's it the most dominating car in Japan for the last couple decades?

I may picked apart ur post but i'm showing how negative and 1-sided ur being.

It's ur right 2 address ur opinion bout the Skyline but not sit there and say everything negative and nothing positive.

Where's ur debate in that??

I don't mind u trying to give him reasons to stay away from the Skyline but u always

gotta give both positive and negative aspects of the car, not jus the negative.

Ur really not doing ne justice for ur debate against the Skyline if it's jus 1-sided.

If you really want to buy a Skyline there's just 3 things to concider.

1. Do you want it for everyday driving? If yes, then don't do it. That much power can be dangerous if you don't know what you're doing. Even at cruising speeds it can spin out of control easily if you don't know what you're doing.

2. Are you prepared to maintain it? A Skyline is a very delicate piece of machinery. It needs regular maintenance intervals and parts do not come cheap. Infact you have to order parts from Japan.

3. Cruising with it is fine but it cannot maintain long runs. At some point the engine can't take the heat anymore and will blow.
