Well I can only admit that I'm not a "good" driver. You're probably a hundred times the driver I am. Probably most other people as well. But I just have this habit of edging towards death every time I get behind the wheel. And would you believe me if I said I don't even fully have my license?

I love the posts in here: "I'm a good driver, I just tend to scare people." HAHAHAHAHAHA. Sounds exactly like me when I tell people about the various tickets I have collected (mostly speeding). But seriously I have toned down my high-speed antics, if not for my safety but for those of others, especially passsengers in my car. I have now reserved high speed blasts for the track and the occasional late night country road redezvous.

Well Patrick I think I'm still in that phase because I'm only 18. I do however make sure there's no one in the car if I decide to take a minivan for a 170MPH ride on a cliffy road.

And Vorros, welcome to the club! I couldn't agree with you more buddy! I'd say all the things you said, and just make sure you remember that safety (at least other people's safety) always comes first.

I've lost a few friends to car crashes and I know where you're comin' from Vorros. I completely agree. But I stil can't avoid the adrenaline rush myself!

yeah, i do all my highly illegal driving late at night on my favorite empty 4 lane road.

I keep my driving somewhat decent around town - for insurance reasons. the insurance company already hates me enough. i don't need to tempt fate.

it rained heavily today. I put my alfa romeo into a 4 wheel 2 axis drift taking an exit ramp. I played with it a bit in the drift, and then brought it back in and got it to plant. My freind in the passenger seat was hyperventilating afterwards.

I try to drive that car nice. 1978 Alfa Romeo Spyder 2000, fully restored, brand new paint job done by Algar Ferrari Philadelphia. Fully mechanically restored. 25years old and still a screamer. I love it. It is the pinifarina body with red leather seats.

I love that car!

Fastest driver I ever seen go by was here in hwy 270 near washington DC, lets just say that particular supra owner that was suicidal. There was some fluid traffic, and this guy passed us at what we estimate was near 200 mph. We were going 110 mph when this crazy guy just passed us, our car started vibrating somewhat, and rest of traffic slowed down and well made way for this lunatic. He was zig zaggin through traffic.

I guess it takes balls to do that in a US road, with mild traffic, when theres cops. Although I dont think the cops will even bother.

i've maxed out my jaguar the other week on the pennsylvania turnpike - sparse traffic. I really wish the speed limiter were set at 150 instead of 130, at 130 it feels totally comfortable to keep going.

Man I can't enough of the Brera's looks. It's gorgeous. I also like the sound of 400HP in a relatively lightweight (?) car.

You should max out in an old 90HP BMW 5 series. Believe it or not, at 160KPH (the car's max. speed), with a full load weight added on by passengers and travel bags and equipment and what-not, the car still performs bvery well and drives like a dream. Aerodynamics are excellent too. The car might not look it, but it's so well designed that when it hits higher speeds, the suspension seems to drop by an inch or more! It actually gets closer to the ground the faster you go! Amazing car. Just amazing.

i'd like to get by little bimmer (which has no speed limiter) to go 150. right now it does like 130 and change, so with some aerodynamics - and horsepower of course, I think this can be done.

Yeah I can confirm it can be done. You can hit 243KPH (~151MPH) in a 320 if you get the sports package, or a kit from Hamann or Hartge or Dinan. You might not even need extra HP.

I just did over 100MPH (not the fastest I've ever done; not even close) in a very old Honda Accord. The car felt like it was about to break apart. I'm probably gonna buy a car soon, either a Porsche 944 or a 928 or 968 (depending on how much dough I'm willing to spend), or I might wait and get the Brabus Smart Coupe. Once I get one of those, I'm sure I'm going to do no less than 135 on average. I'm shooting for 138 at this point.

Well, Living in the US limits how fast you can drive. I took a freinds turbocharged corvette 109mph over a two lane bridge in clearwater florida (I wasn't brave enough to go faster. By they way - I was at 109 in well under 10 seconds. I took the old man's Jaguar 3.0 Sport (yeah, the title is in my dad's name) to a 121mph (i know it was about 121, i past 120 on the speedo

well um hehe i jus dl'd one vid of nugata going 196mph thru the tunnel inside the car then i have 2 vid's of a 1350hp skyline doin 205mph from an in car view to an pass the cam thru the tunnel view, i also have the turbo hayabusa where he is doin over 200mph but can't really tell if he goes further cuz gauges r in the way and then i have a guy inna nother hayabusa showin u 220mph!!! perfectly insane guy doin that shit and he's the one doing the wheelie from 55-140mph.........but there's a catch and one prob........ i dunno how 2 upload these 2 the site or show ya'll the vid clips so if nebody knows how 2 upload vid clips on here lemme know or is there even a way 2 do it cuz i see there is no way for u 2 do it with pics from ur computer i've only been a member of this place for like a whole 2 days so sum1 either PM me email me or leave me a note on yahoo tellin me how 2 post vid clips and i'll show all ......thanx a bunch
