Lotec Sirius with 1200hp

I like the Porsche 944 Turbo instrument panel. Anyone know why they are using this in the Lotec?

@RolandK: Will the magazine SportAuto report about the Lotec?? I hope that we will see the best car in the world on pics in action :grin:

I lived in Bad Aibling Germany for 3 years (1995 - 1998), while there I drove a BMW 535i. I would frequent the LOTEC shop to have work done on my car, and just to see some of the work they had going on. One day while waiting to pic my car up I had the PLEASURE of getting a sneak peek at Sirius while still in the developement stage. Fiberglass molds etc... all over the place. If you have ever been there you know what a cool place it is, and how friendly of a man Kurt (the owner) is. Thank you Kurt for my early look at Sirius, glad to see it is finally complete... and as GORGEOUS as I knew it would be.

Ok, what does 2,000,000DM mean any more? isn't germany on the euro now anyway? So that would be what, 1.1 million euro? For 1200hp, I really think it shoud accelerate better. The McLaren F1 is faster to 60 on 1/2 the horsepower. Furthermore, for about 825,000 euro, I could have a Bugatti Veyon (that engines makes sound to put shame to anything). I respect what Lotec does, but their cars appear better on paper.

I am sure, like all lotecs, it is lightweight (though not too light). I think the issue is that with that much power, it could not be put to the ground very well, so gearing had to be changed to allow a small, lightweight car to put down 1300+hp. I am sure first gear is very very very tall. obviously this much power is silly if a mclaren or a koenigsegg can beat it in acceleration and equal in top speed with half the power. Then once one gets to a speed where that kind of power can be put down, that car must be absolutely amazing.
