What do you think of the Lotec Sirius?

Today I was at the engine factory of this car. This company works very professional with high quality.

The car has 1200 real hp and runs about 420km/h.

If you manage to drive the car at 420km/h on autobahn your close the record. Hey the car Rudolf Caracciola manage to do 432.7km/h on flyging kilometer between Frankfurt-Darmstadt also had a Mercedes V12. :smile: If anyone intrested the record was set with a Streambody Mercedes W125 in January 28 1938.

Seb, interesting you brought that up, because on the History Channel they were showing AUDI and Benz in the early 20's and 30'2, and they talked all about the Streamliners. When I heard that it reached over 270mph, I almost wet my pants, :grin:. Too bad Rosemeyer died in his attempt to break it.

Roland, I can't wait for those pictures man. There are only 1 or 2 pictures of it on the web until now, and it will be great seeing some more of them.

That Benz engine is a monster I tell you, :grin:.

They told me that it is very difficult to bring the power on the street below 300 km/h. Sounds cool, doesn't it?

Hehe i love those TÜV dudes you can take a bmw 3 serie put in a v12. They sign the papers sure its legal.

You don't know how hard the TUEV is. Sometimes it is really terrible to get something signed off.

It is much easier to build a car in US. If you have a look at the low riders. These cars would have no chance at our TUEV.

I don't know, but what I did read is that it's a smaller displacement engine than the Clk's.

No, the engine is based on the old engine block of the old S600. This engine is strong enough to bear 1200hp.

Wow thats impressive. You know whats changed from the orginal motor. Compression is sure but more?. Would love to see a picture of the engine.

A bit offtopic but just wonder whats the fastest you ever have been driving or drived and what car Roland?. If the numbers of the diablo is what you have been driving im very impressed of your skills. Have to be a bit crazy to drive at that kind of speed or very skilled driver. Or both.
