BMW M3 Conundrum

Is is possible to buy a 1996 - 2000 BMW M3 without leather seats? Also, can someone honestly advise as to the difference (other than the obvious) between a 325i and an M3? As a financially challenged college student, I wonder whether the 325i w/190 hp is close in performance/handling/quality/driving fun as the M3. Thanks!

Well other then the obvious, the M3 has better breaks, better suspension and the gearbox is geared a little more aggresive.

If you have the money then go for the M3. Don't forget about gasoline, taxes and insurance btw.
