Spy Shots, New BMW 6 Series

I have just seen some "spy shots" of the supposed BMW 6 Series convertable and all I can say is that it is certainly "different".

That flame surfacing stuff looked good on the Z4 but on the back of a big car I,m not sure it works as well. I always saw BMW's as big, curvey cars and am not sure about this new direction of sharp lines and flame texturing.

Is this what all BMW's will be like from now on? If so that is a great shame.
