345 SAe Horsepower.

That is quite a bit. I suspect there may be a displacement increase.

Unless Z4 gets a lot heavier than Z3 - I can't imagine the Z4 with 345hp being anything short of amazing.

the Z4-M has to be better than Z3-M to turn heads. There both nice cars...but hey if teh the persons Z3-Ms as good as the Z4-M..why bother replacing it?

it'l be a good car, but it will probably be a little bit "quirky" the first year. Just like the current 7 series.

I would wait a year after they debut to buy one.

Why would it be quirky?? they ddint do anything to teh m roadster..itd be almost perfect when the Z4-m would come out cuz they already launched the Z4 and its not going to be released till 18 montyhs after at approx 2004

when 745 debuted (the first of the current generation of BMW's) - it had every imaginable problem under the sun. After a year - it has gotten better - and is almost to the quality standards expected of a BMW. I somewhat expect the M4 Roadster to be the same. I am just holding a wait and see attitude with the quality of the upcoming Z4, 5 and 6 series cars. I know they will all be spectacular pieces of engineering, but as a side-effect of being so pioneering, they have a much higher likelyhood of things breaking. I could be wrong about this, but I know someone who bought a 745i and had to have the entire computer system replaced. It took 3 weeks to do it no less. I simply expect better from BMW.

Yeah but u no the 760's not going to have anymore problems then the 745 after it came out will it...kinda the same for Z4-M. the Z4 may have problems but itl be slovled before the m series comes out wouldnt it?

i suspect the engine on the M4 will be new. I also suspect it will not only be severly tuned - but also employing a lot of high end technology that is too new to have proven itself.

We will see.

Do u know what would be crazy trying to fit on the Z4 ? a boot spoiler lol

yes - well, I could see bangle trying. a spoiler would look redundant on a car with a Kamm Tail.

yeah its already kinda got a spoiler but it might be nice if teh spoiler would be teh same curved shape as teh Z4
