From what i heard the 18" works better. And i think they look better.

does anyone have both sets of rims? and how they compare from comfort and driveability? I know the 18" will be easier to drive(also in wet weather) but I have to make a decision before ordering the car, as a option from BMW dealer it's about 2500CND and if I have to buy it after market it will be around 7-8K with 19" tires. don't know if it's better to stay away from 19" rims?

I've seen some pictures of the M3 with 19's and dropped and I think it looks sick. I personally think that with the wheel well filled in a car is more visually pleasing, but that's just my opinion. I've put larger than factory rims on my crx and civic and the only negative think I've noticed is that the tires wear out faster. Handling improved with both cars. You also have to figure in camber as well. I don't know if you need a kit or not for the M3. I would think about doing it, but I won't be able to afford them for my M3 any time soon. Also I would consider getting it dropped. I'm sure you've seen civic's with 17's and not lowered. Not a pretty sight.

I have 19" Hartge Classics on my 8, and it's really great

The look is gorgeous, and it's not that "hard"

Unfortunately, you have to be very carefull where you park, would be a pity to hit them

I've got the 19's on my M3 conv. I think they look better and the grip is awesome. The ride is extremely firm, but I wouldn't consider it to harsh. After all, it's not supposed to ride like a cadillac.

The 19´s are nicest original wheels you can get for the M3. If you like non-original wheels, you should buy the BBS Challenge 19" or the BBS LeMans 19". They look great, too!
