Best Rain Tyre ?

Hi there !

I just wanted to launch this topic about Tyres and specially RAIN tyres because, after all, the tyre is one of the most important part of a well balanced sport-car; isnt' it ? :cool:

From my little ten years of driving experience (and bying tyres), I can just talk about what I know : Reasonable priced middle-class-GT-tyres. (I mean by that : size between 185/60/13 to 195/50/15) Because I didn't by any Porsche yet, only GTI's.

So, for what I know, the best RAIN (I live in Belgium, this explains my need for good rain tyres) is the UNIROYAL Rallye 640 (before series 540 and 440) .

For the moment I got those in 185/60/14 for my 205 GTI (1991/ 115 hp.) and it really sticks to the road !

If you are looking for a really good tyre for rain conditions at a good price, this is the one ya looking for !
