We wish to get the first assembling task finished next week

After that, tires/rims test will be made and then, go back to the cabin, paint...

Here you can see the different gravel protection coats in grey or black color, underbody, interior, ...

Josep emphasized to restore each little part able to be recovered, trying to evoque early design, and obtain a vintage golden plated look.

More news:

Here you can see the exterior color samples. They are the same paint codes from Porsche AG response about the Silver 1.

The differences are: they were made from 2 Paint manufacturers: SIKKENS and GLASURIT!!

Josep checked the new fusebox and the amperage, matching up to his book's scheme

The steering was restored and here are several parts looking like new ones:

Hello again friends:

I can post here more news. The works are grewing up, and the engine is into his place.

They tried to start up it, and everything was fine.

Look at this beautiful picture...

"Black" is now ready to be sent to the paintshop. The final works are being completed.

Besides Josep chose the tire size: 205

He wants a good grip and a nice external look

The specialist did a fantastic job. All the wiring, different elements were protected, restored and have a beauty aspect.

The inlet black covers, were too ugly... so Josepo decided to delete them and install 'grille strainers'

I'm anxious to receive more news and the ultimate pictures of Black finished.

The specialist added all the improves he consider to make it better, as these metallic tubes:

I don't like the inlet covers, so I decided to go for grilled covers:

The steering wheel was restored as you could remember, posted before, with new leather center horn included:

the dash trim restored with Porsche leather:

The exterior glass trim was sent to be restored too:

And finally I'm so glad to see the look of the door handles:

"Black" is almost finished... After the assembly, they are going to do a paint polish

The Targa bar needs more treatment to achieve the best finish.

The inlets, carburators, and the rest of engine details are incredible.
