Actually, that doesn't look like it would be too hard to do. You have to remember that a lot of it is the supreme balance of the car he's driving. Spot on throttle modulation would be the most of it.

I must say that that is some piece of driving! Ok, the M3 CSL does have some sort of slick tires but what he does is still very difficult, he stays in his lines, Perfect!!! twice round the roundabout without problem.

If you can do better i would like to see that in a movie :)

Greetz Ruben307

Thats' the first time I've ever been called negative Nancy, well, I guess it beats Porno Pete :D .

Don't get me wrong, I still think thats' really good driftng, I did notice how perfect his line was, he followed the white line like it was a track. But yeah, it was raining, and the CSL does have slick tires.

We got a cold chill here in North East Indiana last night, with snow flurries.

Hallo Ruben307,

schau doch mal hier zum Thema BMW M (Anzeige)? Eventuell gibt es dort etwas Passendes.

Der V16 Motor zum Selberbauen (Anzeige) ist auch genial.

Andre: Can I just ask you in which gear did you slide going on the highway on video mentioned before. Was that second or third gear?

Did you use feint technic to slide the car?

I must say very nice drifting.

I have also Bmw M3 for 3 months but mine is E36. First I bought my car for ocasional track days but now I found completely new way of having fun - drifting.

I hope you'll put on the internet some more drift material.

Regards, V

Theres a movie called "The Hire" which you can order

off of bmw's website and in one scene the guy does perfect

drifts with an M5 and trust me they had to shut down part of

LA to make this scene this guy is good.

And as far as Andre your a good drifter. :D:D

" The Hire " is actually a series of films made for BMW, and some are quite good, my favorite by far is " The Follow ". BMW sent me all films on DVD for free. The one you are refering to I believe is " Star " with Madonna in it.

Okay, back on topic.

Uum Andre, I don't know whether the 8200rpm.com is yours or not, but there's no mention on it about passingstrips (inhaal stroken). To my knowledge on on Zandvoort you're only allowed to pass on a passingstrip (not that the rookies pay much attention to it).

Also there's no mention of a warmup lap, great to get your car up to temprature and to get to know the track.

blijf dan rustig en niet emotioneel

That is rule #1 nomatter whether there is an accident or not. Always be calm, do not panic and do not become over emointional. Panic is the #1 reason why accidents happen.

Brave of you guyz to drive on the Nürburgring btw, just wondering how many people go over the top on that track. Got any numbers for me?
