Any kind of " handling " track, the M3 would shine, unlimit the engine, even throw in some light mods, and you've got a car that will open up on the straightaways too. The modification options for E36 M3 are great. Also, the availability of M3 parts would no doubt be far greater than with the 928, and hence, probably less expensive.
