Anybody seen this ep? I'm just speechless, you just have to see it for yourself. I'm uploading it to one of our 100mbit server, I'll probably have it online tonight.

What an amazing car. After seeing this ep there will be no doubt in your mind that this is the McLaren F1 killer.

Quoting Alan:

Those G forces hurt your neck.

It's absolutely BRUTAL!

The guy at KoenigsEgg said: "Turn the traction control off", he must be joking!

This car bites!

/edit: Okay there are some problems with our servers, I'll see if I can host them next week when our guy comes in from vacation to fix it. Anywayz in the mean time you can download it here:

I have to admit the Ford based engine, the supercharger, and Swedish origin made me skeptical. But now I'm loving it!

Pagani's website lists the Koenigsegg at $268,674 which is a bargain for what you get. I hope the price don't go up. Maybe if I sell all my cars and get a Mini Cooper. . .

Hallo GIR,

schau doch mal hier zum Thema Andere Automarken (Anzeige)? Eventuell gibt es dort etwas Passendes.

Der V16 Motor zum Selberbauen (Anzeige) ist auch genial.

CCV8S is an indredible car. It is from sweden, but like most things in the socialist nation, it was a nationial effort. Over 50 swedish corporations aided koenigsegg. Sweden has made a number of well engineered cars for some time, just none of them performance orriented. I have no doubts their engineering is up to the job. I love it, a swedish car, with a ford derrived engine is taking down italy and germany's best. That is quality.

And from what I hear, they are planning a Koenigsegg CC-R, which will be faster yet!!! FASTER THAN THE CC!

Christian von Koenigsegg is not any random moron. He is both a talented automotive engineer and businessman. He set a goal that a number of swedes identified with. Universities, corperations, anyone who could lend a hand did. That is just the mentality, if you can help, do so, and if he can help you, he will.

Anyhow, it was a shot of swedish automotive nationalism, that helped fuel it.

Remember now that sweden makes one of the world's premier fighter jets, sold to nearly 30 nations, it threatens to outsell long time european sales leader Dassault's Rafale, Sweden is a very advanced place.

The new J.S.F uses a Rolls-Royce engine, I guess because it's only the British that ever mastered the S.T.O.V.L (short take-off, vertical landing). As I remember, the last time U.S.A tried, they blew the wings off their plane... impressive indeed. I can't recall Sweden ever doing that...

No the F-35 use a Pratt & Whitney. You're thinking of the Harrier, which was a Brit design to begin with.

Nope, the Joint Strike Fighter, which is replacing the Harrier. The STOVL is Rolls-Royce.

actually, if you'll look at the Saab Griphen, it is powered by a Volvo-Flygmotor engine, which is based on a GE F404 turbofan, but the saab version is lighter, has a higher thrust output (by something like over 3,000lbs of thrust), and supposedly offers greater flexibility with fuel consumption.

Not bad, seeing as they are a country who hasn't declared war since peter the great, and we are the united states (who has a finger in everyone's pot).

Koenigsegg may just be the Enzo Ferrari of our day, a man with a vision for an ultimate performance car, and a man who is actively doing it.
