Need some help please

Hi guys

I need some help from anybody please.... I have VW Golf GTi mk 2 that I have Turbo'ed. I have a Garett 3 Turbo with forged pistons and VR6 head. I have got it boosting @ 1.2 bar @ 6500 rpm. I need to figure out how I can drop the compression to round about 1 bar @ 5000rpm.

Any advice will be appreciated.

i dont really know your engine enough to say for sure but i know when we did a custom turbo on my prelude to drop the compression we put a thicker head gasket on. it helped drop the compression.

I am not 100% on the garrett 3, but on the volvos I have tuned, you can increase or decrease wastegate by moving a small pushrod running from the control servo to the acutal wastegate valve. If you increased wastegate a bit, the system should continue to act just like it does now, but run a little lower boost, thus decreasing compression.
