“Mentley Insanne” made its debut in Schwetzingen, Germany at the European Concours d’Elegance, where it received an enthusiastic response. Classic and Sport Car magazine proclaimed it to be “just spectacular”, and it appeared as the “feature car of the month” in the publication of the worldwide Bentley & Rolls-Royce Owners’ Club. Lord Gainley of the Rolls-Royce club stated that he felt “Mentley Insanne” was the “most beautiful Bentley since the coachbuilt cars of the 1950s.”

It has been displayed for a year at Beaulieu and as is the case with almost all of Andy Saunders’ creations, has been extensively featured in magazines and newspapers in the UK and Germany, including the cover and centre spread of both Intersection Magazine and the August 2003 Custom Car Magazine. Road legal and regularly used, “Mentley Insanne” is a distinctive, bold yet elegant take on the modern version of “the silent sports car”.
