new supercars

what do people think of these new up-and-coming supercars like Koenigsegg, Edonis, Pagani, Spyker, etc.

the spyker is an exceptionally classy, sporty, and beautiful machine.

the koenigsegg is a fastest car contender, and is a true engineering tour deforce, indeed, on paper, no car outperforms it cumulatively.

the Pagani is a passionate, lovable italian supercar with a mean and efficent german powerplant, a perfect combination

And of course S7 which is america's first real contender, which may not be the best out of the gate, but it does have a lot of things going for it.

yes i believe it is very interesting to see that new, less recognizable names are emerging into the realm of supercar. in a few years, these cars may be as known as laborghini is. it's too bad that lLmborhini is no longer an independant marque. it has left a lasting legacy and many precedents of what should be in a supercar. it is hard to say which of the newer marques will reign supreme in years to come. i think that Edonis has a deffinate shot at top dog as it's designed by Pinifarina, but who knows.

But almost nothing beats a Koenigsegg in looks:

Yes i would agree that not much can beat a Koenigsegg by looks. i do beleive that the Edonis is one of the most forward looking cars in the past years.

Agreed. The Edonis looks Edgy and futuristic in a weird way. Meanwhile the Koenigsegg seems to have a clear design direction. I think you can pretty much add wings to the Edonis and call it a futuristic Fighter Jet. The headlights and the air intakes on the Edonis are beyond weird.... :roll:

i like edonis, but it needs to look less like something from a comic book. for now, the koenigsegg keeps its picture on my wall.

i believe that the edonis should lose the black wheels and get a nicer wing, then i believe that it would be a supreme car.
