Ohh ok. Well all I can say is that is a great list. And I'm pretty sure that this competition, will push the supercar makers over 1000 bhp, and over 250 mph. I'm gonna watch out for the MF1, the engine will be interesting (turbine). If Dauer is remaking the 962 that will be very interesting. I'm pretty sure every one of these cars will be over 240 mph, with some stretching to maybe 260 mph. It's insane how much power these cars are going to produce. The SSC Ultimate Aero is already there. That will probably be over 250 mph. All we have to do is wait and see.

UPDATE :

A lightweight, more powerful version of the Veyron is more or less confirmed directly by Bugatti's chief and is to be called "Supersport" or SS, just like in case of the EB110. The final specification will depend on how the main rivals will perform. We might expect around 1200hp, or even 1400hp, at best.

who needs more power? just make it lighter. the only thing the car needs to do is learn how to turn. it already knows how to go forward very well.

Thomas Bscher said in an interview that a lighter version is planned - and it is also mentioned in the latest Car mag. And rumours about a lighter and moderately more powerful version of the mighty veyron have been here from the very beginning of the veyron's story. The power figures are pure speculation though.

I just found out that on SSC's website they claim a top speed for the Ultimate Aero at 259.75 mph. Thats insane.

The thing is though it runs on 104 octane gas (by American calculations, that's about 110 octans by European calculations - RON110, I think ) The finest gas I've ever seen in Europe is RON100 - Shell V-power Racing/ Shell Optimax, OMV Super 100, Benzina Blue Octans 99 here in the Czech republic and others. I guess it is race gas then, which as far as I know costs about 10 or more USD per liter. That's about 40 per gallon. But well, I'm convinced a potential owner can afford that especially if he wants to use it rather rarely on race tracks and for drag races.

But my point is that if you filled up a veyron with such gas, it would do probably over 260mph, with an appropriate ECU modification, which is needed if the engine is to take benefits from the gas.
