I have my doubts about Williams in 2004. The problem is that last year that had the brutal BMW engine, the most powerfull engine in the field might I add. But with this years regulations one engine has to last all racing weekend, so emphesis is on endurance and not performance.

Williams did even want to disclose basic engine information so I'm guessing BMW hasn't finished the engine yet. I think they're having some troubel adjusting to the new circumstances, just like every other team does btw (except McLaren but they started to develop their new car over 1 year ago).

I also don't believe their drivers have it what it takes to go easy on the equipment while still winning a race. Montoya maybe he will learn after a few races, but Ralph is just too young and inexperienced. Specialy the fact that Montoya was 2nd driver but in the championship he placed 2 spots above Ralph.

I think if they gave Montoya a little bit more attention they could have a worldclass driver but this season he is again 2nd driver. I believe everything Ralph has got is coming out the BMW engine and not his driving skills.

Well lets see what happens. Up untill now McLaren has been the only one with some level of endurance while maintaining an accptable level of performance.
