Default Renault RS32 doomed fromt he get go

Barnard Dudot (Head of Renault Sport) said that he does not expect the new engine to be finished on time. Renault switched from a 110 degree block to a 90 degree block, which is conventional in F1 but is causing a few problems. The biggest problem being that because of the higher center of gravity this engine is messing up the driving dynamics.

Dudot doesn't expect to be finished before January, there isn't enough time to work out all the problems. Renault again will start the season with less power then the rest. The new engine is based of the 2000 Supertec engine. "This doesn't mean it's the best engine in the bussiness but given time it might be" said Dudot.

Maybe the new Renault chassis will make up for it all, like always. The chassis had to be redesigned to accomodate the new engines. Another problem is that Renault 2 main desginers have left the company to join the Ferrari and Toyota ranks.

I predict a troublesome season for Renault.
