Now, before you argue, I'm gonna say that I know this is better suited in the Compares section. But I think a poll would be best on this topic.
Ok, we have 5 german luxury cars, top of the line. The Audi A8, BMW 760li, Maybach 62, Mercedes-Benz S600 and the Volkswagon Phaeton.

Audi A8 - V12 - $120,000
BMW 760li - V12 - $120,000
Maybach 62 - V12 - $360,000
Mercedes-Benz S600 - V12 - $125,000
Volkswagon Phaeton - W12 - $100,000

Now I'm not sure on everything, but I looked most of it up. I suggust you look up these cars, and some cool features before you decide. Don't just say BMW because you like them when if you had looked into it you would have liked the Phaeton more. For stats, go on there brand homepages or supercars.net . For pics, I would suggest cardomain.com .I don't think that one is really the best, it's more of an opinion. Not just luxury or performance. Altogether, what's the best car for YOU. They all pretty much match performance wise. And as I stated earlier, Could one of the mods put a poll on this please.

I could make a poll for you if you can tell me what the hell the Maybacj is doing in the lineup.

As a person who has owned a S500 and driven a A8 I can say that if it's a luxury sedan you want, you should definatly go for the S600. Although I've been hearing some good things about that VW Pheaton I'm not so sure if you should buy that one.

I mean when you people you drive a Benz you will get some respect nomatter how expensive it is. But if you tell people you drive a VW then they will look down on you, nomatter how expensive it is.

Well, it's a german luxury car too. It has a V-12, it's fairly fast. It might be mugly, but god is it a beautiful car inside.

Well, I put in my vote for the Maybach. Only because it qualifies as " the ultimate ". Not that I would ever want one, or that I think it is the best, but only because it offers more of everything. It's certainly not the best looking in my view, just " ultimate ".

It has an unfair advantage over every other car listed of course.

Benz S600 I think should be the tops of all the others, 7-Series isn't what it used to be.

The Audi A8L 6.0 is a W12 and starts around $117,000.
It'd be close from the Audi A8L 6.0 or MB S600 but i choose the MB S600.

Now this might be a toss up. I'm sure the Maybach is a very comfy and luxurious car, but the S600 just looks better. Some larger, more expressive wheels and the Bach could look okay. I certainly would like to try out the rear accomodations.

Seriously, it's a w12, oh well...... No wait, you're talking about the A8L 6.0, I'm saying just the A8L, but let's pretend there the same. I suprised that the A8 isn't getting any votes. It's a really beautiful car.
