Default Cd value of the E-class even lower..

I just came back from my local MB dealer. I went there to take out a E500 which I will be writing a review on very soon.

Anywayz I'm browsing through the usermanual and get this, the Cd (aerodynamic drag value) is specified as 0.27. That's even lower then the KoenigsEgg, which is 0.29.

Here KoenigsEgg is making all this hubbab about how aerodynamic their car is and it's already been beaten.

GIR, you are missing the point. A ford taurus has a drag coefficient of .28, the reason the CCV8 is special is that it has unique drag properties at high speed, and that it is creating very large downforce with only .29 coeff drag, most supercars that make that much downforce have much higher. my boxster is, i think, close to .50, and the Lexus LS430's is the lowest of any production car, at .25.

Ah yeah I missed that part. The KoenigsEgg Cd is specified as .29 with downforce. The E Class doesn't have any wings on it that might disrupt the flow.

Tnx, for pointing that out.
