Are those pics of the AM V8? It looks like it, but the license plate says V8 Vantage on it... Also, does anyone know a price of the AM V8? I heard that it was meant to compete with cars like the Carrera but supposedly it's in the price range of a Continental GT or Gallardo.

Yes, this is the one and only AM V8. No other model.

The price in Europe is near by 100.000 EUR.

The Gallardo cost 145.000 EUR +/- - the Continental GT cost 150.000 EUR and more.

In keeping with it's competition, the AM V8 would be less than $100,000. Any car expected to be a reletively high volume money maker would be.

Personally, I can understand the appeal of the Aston style, very sleek and shark-like. But on the other hand, it just seems so played out, and very formulaic. It's sexy compared to most cars, but there is something not there. It's like a glorified S2000/Z-Car. Does anyone know what I mean?

oh man... ill smoke one looks sexy, but i cant beleive its that slow. i have faster accel, more utlity, and higher top speed. im assuming it handles better, and brakes better..... but those arent facts.

still, id buy one if i had money to throw away... but it wouldnt be my first choice in that price range.

I wouldnt really call it slow! But they purposely had to make it slower than the DB9 so not to encroach on the DB9's sales. it does handle better - and that car sounds pure amazing.
