When a basic profile shot makes a car look funny, it's probably just a funny car.
The Cayman seems a little redundant. Maybe if it had a flat-4 and cost about 10-15k less than a Boxster it might make more sense.
Porsche seems to be adopting this weird short wheelbase design combined with huge overhangs. The new 911 and Boxster are the same way.
