Lamborghini actually bought the rights and it's not a myth? Rectangular covered headlamps have been around a lot longer than even the 300ZX after all.
There is a striking resemblance, but unless they are the actual 300ZX units it seems like something that Lambo could get away with.
If it's true, makes me wonder how
Ferrari got away with this.
Good call on the 300ZX being among the best looking Japanese sports cars, the lines are timeless.
