Ferrari built only 150 of the 206GT (Dino) model with a 2.0 liter V-6 engine, before switching production to the larger engined (2.4 liter) and far more common 246 series. The 206 is somewhat less powerful than the 246, but it is also several hundred pounds lighter because of its alloy body. In my opinion, the 206 offers a more enjoyable overall driving experience. It is also considered to be one of the most beautiful Ferrari body designs. My car is s/n 00144, and from that number I suspect it was about the 22nd produced in the series of 150. I also believe this is one of only seven that have been converted to a targa top.
