The MINI Clubman.

The MINI brand family expanded by a new

and fascinating body design: the MINI Clubman

is the modern interpretation of the shooting

brake concept, expressing sportiness as well

as functionality with its new body style. High

appeal through the combination of typical brand

qualities and a unique car concept.

Distinctive car with an extrovert design,

high level of individualisation and extended

functionality over existing models.

Distinctive MINI: its compact, typical brand

styling distinctly places the MINI Clubman in

the MINI product family and its outstanding

features despite the car’s individual proportions

giving it individual character. Stylistic association

with historic forerunners from the 1960s:

Morris Mini Traveller, Austin Mini Countryman

and Mini Clubman Estate.

Extended functionality through an innovative

door concept and spacious interior. Easy

loading by Splitdoor with side-opening rear

doors; easy access to the back due to the

newly designed Clubdoor on the right-hand

side of the car. Backseat passengers enjoy

the exceptionally generous legroom with

a wheelbase 80 millimetres longer than

the “regular” MINI; five seats for the first

time in a MINI; fold-down back seat; luggage

compartment volumes: 260– 930 litres.

Go-kart feeling, typical MINI agility and

high driving comfort combined with three

powerful engines. The new generation of hightech

engines represents the state-of-the art

in modern engine construction achieved by the

outstanding development competence of

the BMW Group.

Additional measures to reduce consumption

and emission levels as standard: Brake

Energy Regeneration, Auto Start Stop Function,

Gearshift Point Indicator.

Three engine models at the market launch:

MINI Cooper S Clubman with a 1.6 litre fourcylinder

engine, twin-scroll turbocharger and

direct gasoline injection; 128 kW/175 HP, max.

torque of 240 Nm (260 Nm with Overboost),

average consumption in the EU test cycle

of 6.3 litres/100 km (44.8 mpg imp) and

CO2 emissions of 150 g/km.

MINI Cooper Clubman with a 1.6 litre fourcylinder

engine, fully variable valve management;

88 kW/120 HP, max. torque of 160 Nm, average

consumption in the EU test cycle of 5.5 litres/

100 km (51.4 mpg imp) and CO2 emissions of

132 g/km.

MINI Cooper D Clubman with a 1.6 litre

four-cylinder engine, Common Rail Injection;

80 kW/110 HP, max. torque of 240 Nm (260 Nm

with Overboost), average consumption

in the EU test cycle of 4.1 litres/100 km

(68.9 mpg imp) and CO2 emissions of

109 g/km.

extras and accessories. Over 40 different

colour combinations for the body, C-pillar

and roof. Exclusive optional extras for the

MINI Clubman.

Compact interior design utilising high-quality

materials, typical brand cockpit design and a

lounge atmosphere in the rear; wide choice of

audio, communication and navigation equipment

including integration of Apple iPod and other

audio sources.

Outstanding safety level in the small-car

segment. Crash-optimised passenger zone; six

airbags and ISOFIX child seat attachment system

is standard. Dynamic Stability Control (DSC)

including traction control and Hill Assist comes

as standard.

Highly efficient and flexible manufacture

in the MINI Production Triangle in the United

Kingdom; production capacities increased to

240,000 units per year.
